On November 3, 2025, Netflix released The Sneetches Soundtrack, completing their slate of Dr. Seuss adaptations first announced in 2022. Furthermore, the 30-track album includes the film’s songs and original score.

Netflix completed its Dr. Seuss Collection with The Sneetches Soundtrack
It took them three years, but Netflix finally completed its 2022 run of Dr. Seuss acquisitions with the release of Dr. Seuss’ The Sneetches on November 3, 2025. Since then, you can watch the Dustin Ferrer animated musical whenever you want, following the exploits of two young Sneetches as they form unexpected friendships on their beach island.
To celebrate the occasion, they also gave us the film’s soundtrack album on the same day as the premiere. This 30-track album features the original score by Composer Greg Nicolett, as well as the original songs from Rob Cantor, all performed by the film’s cast.
However, Netflix only released the album digitally. Luckily, they released it to most major music services for both downloading and streaming.
The Sneetches Soundtrack: Decent Music for Kids and Families
That said, musically, The Sneetches Soundtrack doesn’t shy away from being a family film soundtrack, all things considered. That’s because the songs are just skits from the film. So, you have the cast singing them in character alongside pop showtune themes and musical textures.
In other words, these songs are meant for sing-alongs. You gather the family together for some karaoke fun while on road trips or for random family bonding. As a result, all the songs feature simple melodies and harmonies. Something kids could pick up very easily just by watching the film.
The film’s score is similarly simple. It’s all cheerful and adventurous, perfect for a family-friendly island adventure or your backyard. However, that also means that it’s fairly generic Hollywood. It certainly fits the film and its setting, but it’s nothing spectacular.
However, it’s still good background filler. If you want something wholesome and adventurous, just play The Sneetches Soundtrack while you go about your day. It’s also pretty safe for work, and you won’t get tired of it. Sure, you may get some looks for listening to kids’ music. But we’re animation fans. We’re used to it.
The Sneetches Complete Netflix’s Dr. Seuss Collection
As I noted, The Sneetches is the third and final Dr. Seuss adaptation Netflix announced at the 2022 Annecy Film Festival. In other words, you can now complete your Dr. Seuss music collection. All you need to do is gather the Horton and Red Fish Blue Fish soundtracks as well.
Luckily, all of them are still available for you to stream and download. So you can get the others when you pick up the Sneetches Soundtrack.
However, Netflix adapted the other two books into an ongoing series, rather than as a one-off special, as they did with The Sneetches. As a result, they may drop more albums for them as new seasons drop. For instance, they already gave us the soundtrack album for Horton Season 2.

Where to Listen
Final Thoughts
All in all, The Sneetches Soundtrack isn’t a bad album. It knows what it is, kids-friendly musical theater, and it’s okay with that. It’s unlikely to be your favorite soundtrack, but you won’t hate it either, especially if your kids want to hear it over and over again. However, it’s still worth listening to even if you don’t have them.
But that’s just my opinion. What’s yours? Post your thoughts in the comments below.
