Who am I, and why did I start Toon Radio?
History of Toon Radio
Toon Radio began as a live audio stream in 2001 and served in that role for over a decade. It was available on various streaming platforms, but the format remained consistent throughout its run. I added features such as automated music request systems, but Toon Radio was a passive listening experience at its core.
Blogging was added shortly thereafter. Over time, this feature evolved to become Toon Radio’s primary feature. That was because it provided a much-needed relief during a decline in the streaming industry. While I plan to restart the audio stream, the blog will remain the focus of my efforts for the foreseeable future.
