Continuing their Dr. Seuss collection, the Netflix Horton soundtrack brings the show’s whimsical adventures to life. It already does well with the kids, but can it satisfy them on long trips? When and where can you let your children listen to the show’s music?

The Netflix Horton soundtrack was released digitally on October 6, 2025, coinciding with the series’s release on the platform. The album features eight original songs from the Dr. Seuss adaptation, including its title song.

Already receiving rave reviews, Horton is expected to do well for Netflix. However, it has a specific target demographic and isn’t shy to admit it. Because of this, it might not be for you. Therefore, continue reading to determine if you should add the show to your watch list.

Find The Netflix Horton Soundtrack Everywhere

In our fast-paced world, sometimes you must slow down to let yourself breathe, listen, and feel. Netflix’s new show, Dr. Seuss’s Horton, allows children to do just that as they learn more about themselves and their potential.

Such a whimsical tale needs a soundtrack with a similar, slower, gentler tone. The Netflix Horton soundtrack provides that simple adventurous spirit. Written by Rob Cantor, it perfectly captures the wonder of its preschooler audience.

Quality music of this caliber deserves to shine on its own. As such, it’s no surprise that Netflix released the soundtrack when the series launched on October 6, 2025.

The Netflix Dr. Seuss Collection Continues

Netflix introduced three new animated children’s shows at the Annecy Film Festival. All three shows were based on Dr. Seuss’ books, and all three were scheduled to be released before the end of the year. Red Fish Blue Fish was the first of these shows. Horton is the second.

Developed by Dustin Ferrer and Becky Friedman, Dr. Seuss’s Horton follows the young titular elephant on his whimsical quest to help the people of his jungle home. The seven-episode mini-series stars Max Mittelman, Ethan Monaghan, and Kitana Turnbull.

Netflix released the series to its platform on October 6, 2025, to much fanfare. Critics noted that their children waited anxiously for months for it, and that the series didn’t disappoint them.

For your convenience, I included the trailer below. The series is paced for young attention spans, but you may enjoy the show’s simple storytelling even as an adult.

Netflix produces many great series and soundtracks. I can’t thoroughly recommend the platform due to some of their executives, but you should definitely check out shows like Red Fish Blue Fish if you have an account with them.
