LEGO loves turning its model kits into feature films and series. As such, no one was surprised when they announced an animated LEGO mini-series for Star Wars. This series, Rebuild the Galaxy, was popular enough for a sequel and a soundtrack release.

Walt Disney released the LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy soundtrack in two parts. The first album was released in 2024, featuring music from the first mini-series. Meanwhile, the second album has just dropped, featuring music from the sequel, Pieces of the Past.

Star Wars music is always great, but what about the show? Did it warrant a sequel? Keep reading to watch the show’s trailers to see if it belongs on your watch list.

Disney to Rebuild the Galaxy with LEGO Star Wars Soundtrack Release

It was a sad day when I had to give away my LEGO collection. I loved building interesting shapes and characters with them. While I no longer have the room for them, I can still relive those moments through the various LEGO movies and series.

The LEGO films showcase LEGO’s line-up of original and third-party playsets. LEGO’s latest offering was a 2024 four-part mini-series collaboration with Star Wars.

Released to Disney+ on September 13, 2024, LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy follows the adventures of Sig Greebling after he accidentally activates a powerful Jedi relic that rewrites reality. The series was popular enough to warrant a sequel, Pieces of the Past, which was recently released.

Along with the sequel, Rebuild the Galaxy got a soundtrack release. The album featured the show’s original music composed by Michael Kramer, who also wrote the music for LEGO’s other Star Wars series, Terrifying Tales and Summer Vacation. He also made the music for Ninjago: Dragons Rising.

The album dropped on September 13, 2024, to coincide with the series. The sequel would also get a soundtrack release a year later, on September 19, 2025.

Animation Soundtrack Music from A Galaxy Far Away

The LEGO and Star Wars franchises have produced numerous great movies and series over the years. Rebuild the Galaxy is likely one of them. Because of that, I’m planning to write a review for the series. I’m not sure if it will be a blog post or a reaction video, but be sure to follow Toon Radio for updates on when I post it.
