Two years ago, Dynamic Soundtrack Records released its second overall Batman Beyond soundtrack album. This album featured 98 tracks, generally from the show’s first season. In other words, Batman Beyond Volume 2 picked up where Volume 1 left off a year prior.
Keep reading to learn more about the album, but especially where you can get it.
In Brief, Dynamic Soundtrack Released Batman Beyond Volume 2 in 2024
Batman is basically a gift that keeps on giving. So, it was no surprise when Dynamic Music Partners released the second album in the Batman Beyond collection on their private label, Dynamic Soundtrack Records.
It also didn’t hurt that Batman Beyond Volume 2 featured more tracks than Volume 1, including bonus tracks. That’s because the album, which dropped digitally on September 20, 2024, had 98 tracks. That’s basically two and a half hours of futuristic superhero music. And, of course, it’s all remasters of the original score taken from the back half of the show’s first season.
Now That Said, Here’s A Quick Review of Batman Beyond Volume 2
Musically, Batman Beyond Volume 2 is a continuation of Volume 1, of course. In other words, it’s 90s industrial electric symphony music. However, it’s much more than that.
That’s because you can hear the show’s progression through the music. Sure, it’s a remaster, but you can definitely hear the old arrangements shining through each track. As a result, you get to hear the confidence the composers likely had when writing these pieces two decades ago.
That also makes Volume 2 more replayable than Volume 1. And at more than two hours long, the volume has enough music to fit any occasion. So, you’ll always find time to listen to the greatness that was Batman Beyond music.
Finally, What iI Batman Beyond
Speaking of greatness, Batman Beyond is, of course, the futuristic sequel to Batman: The Animated Series (BTAS). The series basically ran from 1999 to 2001 in three seasons, serving as the DC Animated Universe’s chronological end. That’s despite the franchise continuing for another five years after it.
The show generally followed Terry McGinnis, a teenage delinquent living in a future Gotham, some 50 years after BTAS. He’s, of course, the new Batman, after a chance encounter with an aging Bruce Wayne. And it’s generally through him and his friends that the show answered the age-old question of what happens once Batman retires.
Of course, these adventures unfolded to a soundtrack from the Dynamic Music Partners (the composers Kristopher Carter, Michael McCuistion, and Lolita Ritmanis), and their mentor, the late Shirley Walker. And now, we can finally listen to the soundtrack thrurght the release of Batman Beyond Volume 2 and the rest of the collection.

It might be nostalgia, but Batman Beyond Volume 2 is a great soundtrack album. That’s because it doesn’t hide that it’s a Batman soundtrack. It’s also a great standalone 90s instrumental industrial rock album you’d love to listen to on repeat.
