Dynamic Soundtrack released the Batman Beyond Soundtrack Volume 3 on September 19, 2025. The 90-track album completes the collection started back in 2023. This new soundtrack serves as a replacement for Rhino’s original 1999 release.

Dynamic Soundtrack Releases Batman Beyond Soundtrack Volume 3

Batman Beyond was a phenomenon. Sometimes called Batman of the Future, the series was the culmination and embodiment of late-90s culture. It defined a generation of DC and cartoon fans who still hold the series in high regard over twenty years later.

The series premiered on January 10, 1999, on the WB Network and ran for three seasons before being canceled due to network interference. The show presented itself as a continuation of the critically acclaimed 1992 Batman animated series and its 1997 sequel, The New Batman Adventures.

Batman Beyond followed the adventures of Terry McGinnis, who became the next Batman after a chance encounter with an aging Bruce Wayne. Taking place around 2040, the series served as the chronological end of the DC Animated Universe (DCAU), spawning a movie and numerous tie-ins with other DC shows and comics.

You could stream the series for years, but now we can listen to its music.

The Incredible Batman Beyond Soundtrack Got Released Twice

Batman Beyond brought McGinnis’s story to life through a soundtrack created by Kristopher Carter, Michael McCuistion, and Lolita Ritmanis. The music featured a more cyberpunk and industrial feel than the rest of the DCAU, which the team also wrote.

Bat fans first got their hands on the soundtrack in 1999, when Rhino Records released a 20-track album. It featured the show’s most popular scores, but it didn’t satisfy everyone.

Luckily, fans would get another chance to hear greatness seven years later. Starting in 2023, Dynamic Soundtrack Records has been releasing the full Batman Beyond soundtrack in three 90-track segments. The third of these albums dropped on September 19, 2025, completing the set.

The Dynamic albums were not the first attempt to release the Batman Beyond soundtrack. Rhino Records released a 20-track set a few months after the show launched in 1999. The album is long out of print, but you can still find a few used CDs on the market.

DC Animated Series Have Great Soundtracks

Nothing makes a good, animated superhero show like a good soundtrack. It’s one of the reasons why people love DC shows such as Batman Beyond. With a revival underway, we might see a new one sooner rather than later. But for now, you can read about the Watchmen series.
