Walt Disney Released The Doomies Soundtrack Everywhere
On June 26, 2026, Walt Disney unleashed The Doomies on Disney+. However, they didn’t release The Doomies Soundtrack until a week later, on July 3, 2026.
The Doomies Soundtrack is basically a 42-track EP featuring the show’s original score by Vincent Artaud, a veteran Disney and animation composer. For instance, he wrote music for Mr. Magoo, Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life, Oggy and the Cockroaches, Lupin’s Tales, Hubert & Takako, Paprika, and Zig & Sharko.
In addition to the score suites, the album also includes several songs from the animated horror-comedy series. Performed by Stefan Bossard and Nicolle Rochelle, these songs also include the show’s theme song, “We Gather Strength Together”, which plays over the end credits.
With over an hour of music, all 42 tracks are now available digitally from most major music apps, including Amazon, Spotify, and Apple Music.
The Doomies Soundtrack Offers Epic Horror Sounds
When I first heard about this show, I thought its music would feature classic Hollywood horror sounds. However, The Doomies Soundtrack leaned into its comedy side to give us something more adventurous. Thus, it’s more Monster Mash with a bit of Scooby-Doo than true horror music.
In other words, the music (and the series) doesn’t take itself seriously. It remains playful throughout, coming across as something for adults rather than children.
Musically, it’s mostly electronic and distorted. It’s also loud and in your face. Sure, there are a few quiet moments, but they’re more for effect than anything else.
However, that belies the problem. This album doesn’t feel like a soundtrack. As a result, you wouldn’t know that it came from a Disney series just by listening to it.
Now, don’t get me wrong. It’s a beautiful piece of standalone lo-fi music, all things considered. It’s a great album if you like the genre, but you should watch the show first if you want to hear it as a soundtrack.
Some Details about Disney’s The Doomies
Speaking of the show, as I have said above, The Doomies is an animated horror-comedy adventure that follows the misadventures of best friends Bobby and Romy. Things unfold when the pair accidentally opens a Pandora’s box of a portal, unleashing Hell upon their tranquil coastal town. Now, they must challenge a multitude of both literal and inner monsters to save the town.
The Disney+ series is, in fact, the brainchild of Andrès Fernandez, Henry Gifford, and Rémi Zaarour(credited as Pozla). Furthermore, it stars Max Mittelman, Madison Calderon, Noel Gibson, Jon Bailey, and Zehra Fazal.

Final Thoughts
The comedy-horror genre is an interesting beast, as it must correctly balance the humor with the scary. Unfortunately, The Doomies Soundtrack doesn’t do it. Sure, it’s a nice album, and I recommend it if you love its electronic, distorted, lo-fi sound. However, that’s all it is since it lacks the feel that a good horror show should have.
