Avatar: Seven Havens Book 1 Soundtrack Release Date and Album Details
What a time to be an Avatar fan, and I’m not talking about these alien Smurfs. The Avatar Aang movie was only a few months ago, and now we just finished our visit to the Seven Havens (for now, at least).
However, that’s not all we have either. We still have the Avatar Kurok show, Seven Havens Books 2, 3, and 4, and the recently released Book 1 soundtrack.
Yes, Republic Records released the Avatar: Seven Havens Book 1 Soundtrack today, October 30, 2026, the same day as the season finale. So, we get to hear all 36 tracks from Jeremy Zuckerman‘s amazing original score for the show. And that includes “Return to Me”, the lullaby Pavi sang throughout the season.
They also released the soundtrack digitally through most music services. So, you should be able to find it in your favorite app. I also have a few suggestions if you need them.
Jeremy Zuckerman Returned to Score Avatar: Seven Havens
Jeremy Zuckerman shouldn’t need an introduction. That’s because he’s been writing music for the Avatar franchise since the first series, Avatar: The Last Airbende . He’s also been there for the sequel, Avatar: The Legend of Korra. So, his return for Avatar: Seven Havens wasn’t surprising.
However, he chose a much different musical identity this time. It’s still generally oriental sounding. However, Zuckerman gave Seven Havens more of a synthwave vibe than the traditional instrumentation of the previous two series.
But that change works for the show’s setting. It’s supposed to be this future, post-apocalyptic world. And the music gives it this ethereal presence that makes it all just click.
Then, there’s the focus on the kalimba. The kalimba is a real musical instrument from Southeast Asia, and it basically serves as the score’s non-synth center. It’s also diegetic. Pavi, the show’s main character, plays a kalimba and often plays the score herself.
That’s especially true for the track “Return to Me”. It’s the show’s central theme, but it’s also supposed to be a popular in-universe children’s lullaby. Pavi replays it several times as a reminder of her lost parents. So, it had to stand on its own, and it has.
As a result, you can play it as is without the rest of the soundtrack if you need that shot of emotion. Otherwise, you can easily play the whole thing, whether you have seen the show or not.
About Avatar: Seven Havens Book 1
Speaking of the show, Avatar: Seven Havens is an animated action-adventure series from Nickelodeon and Avatar Studios. As I have said, it’s the direct sequel to Avatar: The Legend of Korra.
It’s basically about Pavi, a young earthbender girl who discovers that she’s the next Avatar after Korra. However, unlike her predecessors, the world hates her to death, literally. For you see, Korra ended the world, leaving the resultant post-apocalyptic wasteland to her.
Now Pavi must try to understand the cataclysm Korra wrought to save both herself and the world. But things get complicated when she learns that she also has an identical twin sister.
Nickelodeon premiered the series’ first season, entitled Book 1: Survival, on the Paramount+ streaming service earlier this month on October 9, 2026. The season ran fr 13 episodes, which dropped three per weekend. Today, October 30, was the four-part finale.
So now, we’re in the hiatus before the second season, Book 2. However, the show’s been greenlit for two more seasons after that, for a total of four. But there’s still no premiere date for either of them.

Final Thoughts: A New Avatar Soundtrack Worth Making Time For
Overall, the Avatar: Seven Havens Book 1 Soundtrack proved itself as the best Avatar soundtrack to date. Sure, Last Airbender music was iconic, but it never reached the lofty heights of Seven Havens.
The A7H soundtrack is just pure ear candy that expanded the lore without overstepping its bounds. And as a result, I’m looking forward to hearing what they’re cooking for the next season.
However, that’s just my opinion. But what’s yours? Post your thoughts in the comments below or tag them to me on social media.
