On October 10, 2026, Netflix released the Haunted Hotel Season 2 Soundtrack album along with the season. The 22-track album generally covers the second season’s original score and a cover of “Don’t You (Forget About Me)”.

Netflix Released a Haunted Hotel Season 2 Soundtrack Album
It’s Halloween time. So, every studio is dropping its scary season stuff. That includes Netflix, which recently took us back to the Haunted Hotel. However, they didn’t stop there. They also released the Haunted Hotel Season 2 Soundtrack to go with it.
The new soundtrack album features 22 more tracks from the original score from the series by Ryan Elder and Joshua Moshier. It also includes a cover of Simple Minds’ “Don’t You (Forget About Me)“ performed by Kotomi. The composers also produced the song and the album.
Netflix released the album digitally on October 10, 2026. So, you can find it on most digital music services. However, I have a few suggestions in my collector’s guide below.
This Season 2 Soundtrack album isn’t the first album in the series, of course. Netflix released the Season 1 Soundtrack last year, which is still available.
Halloween Music from Haunted Hotel Season 2
Musically, the Haunted Hotel Season 2 Soundtrack isn’t what I expected, especially for composers who previously worked on shows like Rick & Morty and Looney Tunes. However, Elder and Moshier crafted something that’s generally good.
Overall, it’s more suspenseful and adventurous than the horror-comedy that the show’s title and premise suggest. It does this through big, sweeping, and epic sounds and melodies. Basically, it has an electronic orchestra behind it, and it isn’t afraid to use it.
However, it’s also very playful at times. In other words, it’ll let you know that it’s a comedy show soundtrack when needed.
But we can’t forget the cover of “Don’t You”. While everyone uses that song these days, Elder and Moshier decided to create their own version. And I can say, I prefer Kotomi’s version over the original. But I can’t say whether it’s because it’s good or the novelty.
Either way, the Season 2 Soundtrack is a great album. That’s because it works well on its own. But it doesn’t shy away from being a soundtrack.

Final Thoughts
All things considered, the Haunted Hotel Season 2 Soundtrack album isn’t a great Halloween album. But it isn’t trying to be. Instead, it focuses on being a great, animated sitcom soundtrack, which it excels at. And in the end, that’s all that matters.
