On September 4, 2026, Disney released their LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian Soundtrack, which contains the original score from the animated Disney+ special. The album also features 14 tracks, or about 14 minutes of music.

Walt Disney Released the LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian Soundtrack
Everything’s LEGO these days, but Star Wars has been going at it since the beginning. So, it’s no surprise that Disney released a short LEGO-inspired animated side story of their Mandalorian series on Disney+.
However, they didn’t stop there. They also brought in Michael Kramer, Adam Dib, and Roberto Prado to write the music. That’s big news because these men are veterans of the LEGO franchise. In other words, they know how to write music for the serious, yet randomly funny, aesthetic of LEGO films.
For instance, Kramer wrote music for the previous LEGO Star Wars specials, Terrifying Tales and Summer Vacation. Meanwhile, Dib is the man behind the LEGO Ninjago: Dragons Rising Soundtrack. Then, there’s Prado, who previously worked on the Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past Soundtrack.
And now, we can hear them make music together on the LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian Soundtrack. Moreover, you can do it whenever you want since Disney released the 14-track soundtrack digitally to most music services.
A Quick Review of the LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian Soundtrack
Musically, the LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian Soundtrack generally sounds like what you’d expect. It’s a Star Wars soundtrack. So, you get those big, epic instrumentals, like in “The Story Begins”.
But the soundtrack also knows that it’s a LEGO movie. In other words, it knows when to get silly, as it does for the “Dancing Machine” track. It even starts off a bit corny with “This is the Slay” and its big cantina vibes.
It’s also nice and short. I listened to the whole album maybe five or six times while writing this review. In other words, you’ll likely find a place for the soundtrack in any playlist. It also works in most situations. So, you can play it as a standalone album or as part of your Star Wars or LEGO playlist.
About Disney’s LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian
As I have said above, LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian is an animated spin-off special of Lucasfilm’s The Mandalorian live-action series. It’s also a comedic LEGO retelling of the series, letting fans follow Mando and Grogu’s story once again.

Final Thoughts
I haven’t kept up with Star Wars as much as I should, but the LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian Soundtrack seems like a good place to get back into it. It has that classic Star Wars feel with the goofiness you expect from LEGO. As a result, it’s a good all-around soundtrack for any Star Wars fan or soundtrack music lover.
