Lakeshore Records released a soundtrack album for CBS Studios’ Among Us Season 1 digitally on June 26, 2026. Furthermore, they included 32 tracks of the show’s original score on the album. It’s also surprisingly decent for what it is.

So, keep reading to learn more about the album and where you can get it.

Lakeshore Records Released CBS’s Among Us Season 1 Soundtrack

There’re some shows that you never expected to happen despite the popularity of their franchises. And it’s all because those franchises presumably don’t have built in stories that television series could adapt.

One of those “impossible” shows is CBS’s Among Us, which is currently streaming on Paramount+. Based on the video game franchise of the same name, the animated comedy basically follows the hapless crew of a spaceship that must contend with a shape-shifting alien that’s hunting them down.

Furthermore, supporting the crew is a soundtrack produced by electronic music artist Chrome Canyon, whom you may know as Morgan Z. And now, you can hear that music basically any time and anywhere you suspect an intruder might be loose.

That’s because Lakeshore Records released the Among Us Season 1 Soundtrack album on the same day the series premiered, June 26, 2026. Moreover, they included all 32 tracks from the show’s original score, which you can now listen to digitally from most streaming music services.

The Among Us Season 1 Soundtrack Wasn’t What I Expected

However, I have a confession to make before we continue. I haven’t played any of the Among Us games, nor considered doing so. Blasphemous, I know, but I never found the game interesting. I do know all about them, though. That’s because you can’t hop onto any social media network without hearing about them. Still, I’m going into this relatively blind.

Now that said, the Among Us Season 1 Soundtrack isn’t the electronic music experience I expected. Sure, Chrome Canyon’s music features some electronic sounds, but that’s not what we got here.

Instead, the soundtrack went for something more akin to traditional horror movie soundtracks. All the classic horror themes are there, albeit remixed to remind you of the games the show’s based upon.

That’s not a bad thing, all things considered. I just presumed that an electronic music guy would give us a generally electronic music soundtrack.

That said, it’s pretty enjoyable overall. It’s not something I’d listen to on repeat, but the Among Us Season 1 soundtrack works surprisingly well for what it is. It may also tip the scales in favor of watching the show on Paramount+ sometime.

All About the Among Us Season 1 on Paramount+

Speaking of which, CBS first announced the Among Us animated series back in 2023. Produced by their CBS Eye Animation Productions division, the series generally portrays itself as a comedy adaptation of the indie video game from Innersloth.

As I have said above, the series follows the misadventures of the Among Us Crewmates as they try to weed out a killer alien “Imposter” hidden among them. Additionally, CBS tapped anime studio Titmouse to bring this tale to life, using a voice cast which includes:

  • Kimiko Glenn as Cyan
  • Ashley Johnson as Purple
  • Wayne Knight as Lime
  • Phil LaMarr as Brown
  • Randall Park as Red
  • Dan Stevens as Blue
  • Debra Wilson as Yellow and Computer
  • Elijah Wood as Green
  • Patton Oswalt as White

Final Thoughts

The Among Us Season 1 Soundtrack wasn’t what I expected, but what we got isn’t that bad. That’s because it went for a horror comedy vibe that works well with the series’ premise and video game roots.

But that’s just my opinion. What’s yours? Post your thoughts in the comments below.
