Apple Released the Allen Stone Song “Home, Where Your Heart Found Me” from Their New Apple TV Snoopy Special
There are some things that just feel right, and the Peanuts always feel right and wholesome. You can never go wrong with Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and their friends. So, when I heard that Apple was making Peanuts content, I knew it was going to be good. And luckily, Apple didn’t prove me wrong.
Their latest masterpiece is an animated, stream-only short film titled Snoopy Presents: There’s No Place Like Home, Snoopy. In it, the Peanuts Gang accidentally sell off Snoopy’s doghouse at a yard sale and must then rebuild it while consoling him. Along the way, they learn what it truly means to be “home”.
This lesson comes wrapped in a song written and performed by Allen Stone. And that’s a good thing because Apple recently released that song, “Home, Where Your Heart Found Me”, as a single to promote the film, which dropped last week on July 31, 2026.
The New Allen Stone Song Sounds Excellent
Stone is a relatively new musician, all things considered. That’s because you likely only knew him from his 2018 American Idol appearance, despite having five released albums at this point.
Still, his song, “Home, Where Your Heart Found Me”, is wonderfully wholesome. Sang from Snoopy’s point of view, it’s about his lament over losing his home and the adventures he had there.
Stone says he patterned the song after the late Peanuts composer Vince Guaraldi, who guided the franchise musically before his death in the 70s. And from listening to the track, I think he nailed it.
It has that special Peanuts quality. That’s because it feels heartfelt, wholesome, inspiring, and very memorable. Moreover, it’s modern folk music that understands its assignment, serving as the film’s emotional shorthand for its central theme. In other words, it feels like a Peanuts song.
A New Allen Stone Song for a New Peanuts Era on Apple TV
As for the film, Apple TV’s Snoopy Presents: There’s No Place Like Home, Snoopy is part of Apple TV’s continuing partnership with WildBrain and Peanuts Worldwide. So, it’s based on the classic Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, as you might have expected.

Although if you need something more, Apple has you covered as well. That’s because they also released a music video for Allen Stone’s song. It’s, of course, a clip from the show. However, it’s edited as if it’s a true standalone anime music video (AMV). In other words, they put a lot of effort into the scene. And that bodes well for the film overall.

The Peanuts Gang never disappoints, and the “Home, Where Your Heart Found Me” single by Allen Stone is more proof of that. It may not be a mainstream hit, but that isn’t the point. It’s a Peanuts song through and through, and that’s all that matters.
