With something as hot as Marvel’s cinematic universe (MCU), you know there would be animated adaptations. So, it’s not surprising to learn that there was an animated series for the Guardians of the Galaxy with an accompanying soundtrack.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Mix Vol. 1 is a 12-track soundtrack album featuring songs from the first season of the series. It was released on October 16, 2018.

The Animated Guardians of the Galaxy Soundtrack Album
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy movies are fun and epic sci-fi theater. There’s something for everyone, including hot retro music. These platitudes extend to the animated adaptation, which was popular enough to warrant a soundtrack release.
Walt Disney Records released “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Mix Vol. 1” soundtrack album on October 16, 2018. It features original music from Blue Swede, Queen, The James Gang, Thin Lizzy, Gloria Gaynor, Hudson Brothers, Peaches and Herb, Cameo, and others. You can find it in most music stores and platforms.

Walt Disney has yet to announce the soundtrack album for the show’s second or third season.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Animated Series
Obviously, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy animated series is based on the Marvel movies and comics series of the same name. It features the voices of Will Friedle, Trevor Devall, Vanessa Marshall, Kevin Michael Richardson, and David Sobolov.
The series initially premiered on the Disney XD channel on September 26, 2018, but you can find all three seasons up for streaming on Disney+.
